Here you can access the response plan for sports and youth work and supporting documents that are free for everyone to use.
The contingency plan is prepared in consultation with the Icelandic Scout Association, the Reykjavík Sports Federation, the Sports and Olympic Association of Iceland, the YMCA and the YWCA, the Sports and Youth Affairs Communications Adviser, the Accident Prevention Association of Iceland, the Youth Forum of Iceland and the Youth Forum.
The purpose of a coordinated plan is to track incidents that may occur and guide staff, volunteers, and others to respond appropriately should they occur. After all, it is best for all parties to a case if the response is coordinated.
